LIFEgroups are the way that we connect with God's Word & each other in smaller groups. There are different formats including Young Adult, Couples, Families, Men, Women, Mixed/Intergenerational & Prayer Focussed. They meet in homes or at the church on different nights of the week and their focus is to CONNECT, ENCOURAGE & GROW through relationship with God, His Word & each other!
Goal: Connection to God, Others, and the World
Our goal in all our group life is to lead people toward a deeper connection to God in Christ by the Spirit, a closer connection to others, and a fuller participation with God in reconciling a lost and broken world to Christ.
Means: Relationship
At FLEFC, we want to be a community of disciples where each of us is developing a constellation of significant relationships by we are nurtured, encouraged, and equipped to become like Jesus, and by which we can participate in God’s transforming work in the lives of others in similar ways. It’s our hope that each of us will be investing in significant relationships with Jesus, with close spiritual friends, with intentional small group community, with mentors, and with the larger church as we discern, celebrate, and participate in God’s mission in the world.
Essence: Christ-Centred Community
Our LIFEgroups will seek to cultivate Christ-centred community in which members experience and respond to Jesus’ presence, are immersed in and learn to treasure Jesus’ teachings, appreciate the richness and work through the difficulties of being Jesus’ family, and discover and participate in Jesus’ mission in the world.

Relationships: We’ll always put spiritual friendship and care for one another over accomplishing a certain agenda during any given meeting/season.
Authenticity: We’re striving to be real with one another and with God. Confidentiality: We promise to be a safe place where you can trust that your struggles and weaknesses will be kept within the group.
Respect: We’ll always make sure you feel valued and respected for the person you are, and that you’re given space to undertake the journey at your own pace.
Fruitfulness: We think that Christ-centred community is so great that everybody should get to experience it. So we’re hoping that all our groups will grow and birth new groups, because there’s always room for more in God’s family!
